Program


The program committee (Link) is happy to invite you to the 28th Workshop on MHD Stability Control, to be held in Auburn University from the morning of October 3rd to noon of October 5th, 2024.

The theme of the workshop is "Measurements and codes for a fundamental understanding of the MHD stability".

The agenda (Link) will include contributed talks, posters, and 8 invited talks. Invited talks will be given 22 minutes. Contributed talks will be given 14 minutes. There will be a discussion session after each session with one invited talk and three contributed talks.

Presentations

The workshop will not be recorded. However, the presentation materials will be posted with password protection at this website with author approval.

Special Issue Papers

All who presented at this workshop are invited to submit a manuscript to the special issue in Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion. See Link for more information.

Logistics


Auburn University is hosting the workshop. The workshop will be held at the Auburn University Student Center (Melton Student Center Ballroom B, Auburn University, AL). A tour of the strong plasma physics program at Auburn University is planned to be coupled with the poster session. See Link for more information about the meeting venue.
