The workshop is now concluded
The 29th Workshop on MHD Stability Control took place from Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025 to Friday, July 25th, 2025 at Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, USA.
The presentation files can be found here (password protected).
All participants are welcome to submit to the PPCF Special Issue on the 29th Workshop on MHD Stability Control (external link). Papers in a special issue tend to get processed faster and cited more. The submission deadline is December 1, 2025.
This year, the workshop was co-located with the Theory and Simulations for Disruptions Workshop (TSDW, July 21-23) and closely located with the International Tokamak Physics Activity Topical Group on MHD, Disruptions and Control meeting (ITPA-MDC, July 16-18, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory).
This year, the theme was "MHD measurement, control and modeling of three-dimensional structures in magnetically confined fusion plasmas". However, all abstracts in alignment with the scope of the workshop were welcome.
The abstract submission is now closed. We are looking for 8 invited and 24 contributing speakers, along with poster presenters. We ask all presenters to participate in person. Zoom connections will be provided for the audience. All speakers are invited to a special issue in the PPCF journal, which gets more citations statistically. Use this form (https://forms.gle/CEWJdRGMXEssSjMg8) to submit your abstracts. The deadline was June 2nd, 2025.
The workshop registration is now closed. Use this form (https://cvent.me/Ov4lkR) to register. The deadline was July 1st, 2025.
Please contact the chair of program committee James Yang (jyang@pppl.gov) for details.
