Poster Instructions

Each poster presentation should be displayed for the day of the poster session in which it was scheduled. At a minimum, the poster should be displayed by 13:00 on that day, so your colleagues can examine it after lunch.

The presenting authors should be available for discussion of their work during the designated poster sessions, the first half-hour of which coincides with the afternoon coffee/tea break from 15:30-16:00. The poster sessions continue up to 18:00.

The posters are to be displayed in designated areas of the Conference Center, in and nearby the main building. Ideally, posters should be installed in the morning and removed after the poster session, no later than 23:00.

Poster presentations will be listed and numbered in the conference abstract book and the abstracts will be available on the conference website. The same numbers will be used to number the poster boards.

The poster boards are large (APS-style), landscape-orientation double-sided push-pin boards (see examples below). The height and width of the useful area of the boards is 4 feet (1.22 m) by 8 feet (2.44 m), respectively. Please note the much greater width but reduced height of these boards when compared with the European standard (A0) boards.
