Traveling to Auburn from the APS-DPP meeting in New Orleans
Flying: The simplest way to get from the APS-DPP meeting in New Orleans is to fly to Atlanta and drive to Auburn. It is an ~ 1.5 hour drive from Atlanta to Auburn via rental car or shuttle bus. (Note, Atlanta is in the Eastern time zone and Auburn is located in the Central time zone.)

Driving: (See some of the Gulf Coast) It is an ~ 5.5 hour drive from New Orleans through Biloxi, Mississippi and via Mobile Alabama to Auburn.
Leaving Auburn via Atlanta Airport
Those making reservations to leave out of Atlanta should allow themselves at least a 4 hour window to take into account the time zone change and 1.5 hr drive. This leaves about 1.5 hr to get through security and to their gates.
