Theme & Topics
The workshop theme for this year is “Workshop on Active Control of MHD Modes in Toroidal Devices.” This theme is a throwback to one of the earliest workshops and is meant to be broadly encompassing to encourage a true "workshop spirit" in which all ideas are welcome for discussion. To further encourage this feeling, all talks will be given an equal time allotment with as much time as reasonably possible saved for discussion. It has been 2 years since our last stability control workshop and it is important to discuss all cutting edge progress being made in prediction, avoidance and control of MHD instabilities.
