Information for Remote Participants


The meeting will take place at General Atomics in San Diego, July 11-12, 2006.

The DIII-D Diagnostic Mini-Workshop can be participated remotely using one of the following two ways:

1. QuickTime Streaming

The Meeting is available via QuickTime streaming. You will need the QuickTime Player ( version 7 ) in order to view and listen to the presentation. Click here to download the latest QuickTime Player.

There are two ways to proceed:

1. Using web-embedded QuickTime Player: click here .

2. Using standalone QuickTime Player application: Start QuickTime Player (version 7); Click on "File" -> "Open URL" ; Type "rtsp://streamer.gat.com/fsm" in the text box; Click on "OK" button.

2. Webcam and Telephone Bridge

  1. In order to view the slides click here (Loading the camera might take a few seconds. If you have any problems with viewing, please check the compatibility of your browser by clicking here)
  2. Call (510)665-5437. Enter the meeting ID:34443 (stands for DIIID) and follow the instructions.

Notes:

  1. In method 1, the audio/video stream is delayed about 15 seconds.
  2. In method 2, the telephone communication is two-way; please mute the microphone of your telephone when you are not actually speaking.
