Travel Information

For those attendees flying to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), there are several ways to get to the conference site in Santa Monica.

• Taxi: The estimated one-way fare from LAX to Santa Monica is $50 (including taxes and tip)
• Metro: A shuttle bus is available at LAX that will take you to the LAX Station of the Metro System (Green Line). From the Green Line, you will need to transfer to the Blue Line, and then transfer to the Expo Line. The Expo Line stops at the Downtown Santa Monica Station. A short walk will take you to the DoubleTree Santa Monica conference site.

• Car: Rental cars are available to go the approximately 12 miles from LAX to the DoubleTree Santa Monica conference site. However, please note that parking is available at the conference site at a daily rate of $28.00 (valet only). Finding parking along a street will be difficult, and walking will be involved. It is recommended that Workshop attendees avoid renting a car, and are encouraged to take advantage of the special hotel discount rate for their accommodations.
