Hotel Information

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Marriot Residence Inn, which is a 7-minute drive from General Atomics.

• Pricing: The Marriot has offered the government rate, which is $149 in November.
• Method of Payment: Each individual will be required to provide a credit card upon check in for their own room, tax, parking and incidental charges.
• Methods of Reservation

  2. If ResLink is not an option, guests may also call the Marriott reservation line at 1-800-331-3131. Please refer to General Atomics Room Block Nov2016 to receive the special group rate.
• Reservation cut-off date: Reservation cut-off date is Friday, October 7, 2016. Any reservations or changes made past the cut-off date cannot be guaranteed but will be accepted based on availability. Please book as early as possible so that we can arrange for additional rooms if necessary.
• Transportation: A 7-passenger Marriot shuttle will be available to transport conference participants between the hotel and GA campus. Additional shuttle support will be available from GA.
• Location: The Residence Inn is in the process of being renovated so the rooms should be in good condition in November. The Residence Inn is located close to a large shopping complex (The Shops at La Jolla Village) that contains a Whole Foods Market (with prepared foods and a restaurant - Torrey Pints [menu]) and a variety of dining options.
