The 9th IAEA Technical Meeting on H-mode Physics and Transport
Barriers will be held in San Diego (USA) during September 24-26, 2003.
This workshop continues a series of international workshops on
H-mode and internal transport barriers in plasmas. The goal of the
workshop is to advance the physics understanding of H-mode and
internal transport barriers in magnetically confined plasmas through
the presentation and discussion of experimental, theoretical and
modeling studies of these barriers.

A call for papers will be issued in the second announcement in
February 2003. This announcement will contain information on workshop
topics, abstract submission, accommodations and the workshop website.
