Output Flags and Other Parameters

Defaults, which are shown in italics, are from init.f

Output File Options

TOQ can generate as ouput properly-formatted input files for other codes. The input parameters used to specify whether to make the file or not has the form prt*. The output files themselves have the form dsk*.

prtmars (false)
generate file for premars (mars code)
prtboot (false)
generate file for sboot.x (calculate bootstrap current)
prtgato (false)
generate file for gato
prtfixb (false)
generate file for fixb.x (fixed boundary eqdsk)
prtbalr (false)
generate file for fulbal.x (balloon with rotation)
prtbal (false)
generate file for baloo.x (old balloon, no rotation)
prtmercy (false)
write out mercier stability
prtnova (false)
generate file for nova code (probably obsolete)
prtdcon (false)
generate file for dcon
prteqdata (false)
generate dskeqdata for file for restart
prtcamino (false)
generate file for precamino.x

Equilibrium control

iteqmx (25)

toleq (1. e-6)

ieqdsk (0)
For Restart, Initial Guess.
0 => Don't use restart.
2 => Use restart file dskeqdata.

Slow Start (for Beta Control)

islwst (0)
nbet (5)
betis1 (0)
Subroutine slow start (slwstr)increases (betiso) from
(betis1) to (betiso) in nbet increments.
back averaging is disabled until full beta values are reached.

Back Averaging

Note: use only with equiltype='qsolver'

Miscellaneous

nhior (15)
used in routine hior (# of integration points) no need to ever change this
nbdry
Number of boundary points used for the initial interpolation does not need to be changed.
