  Attendees: N. Eidietis, E. Hollmann, A. Hyatt, M. Lehnen, G. Pautasso, R. Raman, F. Saint-Laurent, M. Sugihara
  1. Procedural notes from N. Eidietis
     - Authoritative IDDB variable list is on website... please use that for reference
          MDSplusVar
     - Please use standard Excel form for data submission:
          DataSubmission
     - Thanks to JET (Lehnen) & MAST (Andrew Thornton) for submission
     - New data will be uploaded to IDDB before March 2012 ITPA
     - Will improve default SQL query & examples so that SQL is more self explanatory
  2. Should INTLID & RMAGD be required variables?
       - Agreed without objection.
  3. Should control shot without mitigation be included for comparison to mitigated shots?
     - Agreed in principle. However, it is believed that such control shots are very rare except
in VDE cases. A new variable, CONTROLSHOT, will be added to the MGI portion of IDDB.
  4. Proper density measurement interval
     - Instantaneous density measurements deemed very noisy. Adding new variable DENSSPK5 to
average the density from the current peak (TIMESPK) to the 50% point of the CQ (TIME5).
  5. Data submission status
     - JET, MAST data in
     - TEXTOR coming, but diagnostics very limited
     - AUG will have some submissions in February
     - Tore Supra data submission delayed until after March
  6. Ending note
     - R. Raman suggested that we should consider adding measurements of the SOL
(thickness, density, temperature) at a later time.
