21st US Transport Taskforce Workshop
Tuesday, March 25 to Friday, March 28, 2008
The meeting
will take place at the Millennium Harvest House Boulder
in Boulder,
Colorado
USA from Tuesday, March 25 to Friday, March 28, 2008.
The US TTF Workshop is an international gathering of working-level specialists in transport in magnetized plasmas. As with past meetings of this group, the structure of the meeting emphasizes its workshop character. There will be one day of plenary sessions, containing talks covering important present and emerging transport issues. The remainder of the meeting is parallel sessions of the individual working groups. The meeting should be of interest to experimentalist, modelers and theorists focussing on magnetized plasma transport.

| ITER/BPO Townhall Meeting |
There will be a townhall meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss issues related to interactions with the ITER organization. Details on the townhall meeting can be found here.

| Edge Coordinating Committee satellite meeting (March 28, 1:00 PM - Canyon Room) |
The Edge Coordinating Committee will participate in the TTF meeting, as in recent meetings. In addition, the Edge Coordination Committee will hold a special half-day workshop, following the close of the TTF meeting on Friday, March 28. The site will also be the Millennium Hotel. This meeting will consist of talks and discussions focused on the theory, simulation, and experimental data of electric fields in the pedestal/SOL regions, including both generation mechanisms and consequences.
