A Tool for Viewing Output from ONETWO
A new tool named PLOT12, which uses IDL widgets to view ONETWO graphic outputs interactively, is now available on HYDRA as well as most of the other local HP systems. PLOT12 takes netCDF data files as input. Data may be viewed as a function of time and/or normalized R. A help menu is available on-line, although the tool is basically self-explanatory. PLOT12 requires IDL and an X Window enviroment in order to run. The command to launch PLOT12 is "plot12" (or "/d/hp/codes/plot12" if "/d/hp/codes" is not in your search path)
PLOT12 was designed for displaying ONETWO outputs. Both "trpltout" and "iterdb" are now available in netCDF format using the same name but with the extension ".nc" appended (i.e., "trpltout.nc" and "iterdb.nc" respectively). The same tool, however, can also be used to view other data files having a similar structure.
