ACCESS INFORMATION - SLIDES AS THEY ARE PRESENTED
- Please note that this seminar will be presented with Virtual Network Ccomputer (VNC) software, rather than with Meeting Place. To view the material as it is presented, you must first install the appropriate VNC client software on your computer. There are multiple options for each platform; here are some:
- For Mac OS X, "Chicken of the VNC," available here
- For Windows, "Windows VNC client/server," available here
- For Linux, Red Hat (at least) comes with one built in; it may be called vncviewer .
- For Mac OS 9, try: http://www.redstonesoftware.com/support.html#vnc
- To view the presentation:
- Start up the VNC client software on your local computer.
- Make a VNC connection by logging on to:
- Server: red-tst.pppl.gov
- IP Number: 192.188.106.137
- Password: pppl
- Port: 5900 (the default; probably not needed)
- Display: 0 (also usually defaulted).
