Remote Participation in DOE Theory Seminar 02/26/2008

The DOE Theory Seminar can be participated remotely using one of the following three ways:

IMPORTANT! The first two methods are two-way. It's very important that you mute your microphone (or telephone) unless you are speaking to the meeting.

1. Using H.323-based Video Conferencing system

Dial 0011349 82 7775 followed by the # sign.

(Please do not enter any password. When asked to enter a password simply press the # button.)

2. Using telephone

1. Dial 1-510-883-7860
2. At the prompt, enter 0011349 82 7775 followed by the # sign.

3. Using desktop or laptop computer(one-way)

The video and audio also will be streamed over the web. In order to watch the meeting:

1. Open the web page: http://mcu1.es.net
2. Click on the "Click here to log in" link at the left bottom of the page to login
3. Login using "guest" and "ESnet"
4. Click on "View conference list" under "User options"
5. Click on "Watch" next to 7775
6. Select "Streaming Rate"
7. Select the "Viewer"
8. Click on the "Start streaming" button

You will need to have at least one of the free packages, QuickTime Player or Real Player installed on your computer.
