Variables Specified in the INVT Namelist

INVT is specified in input file (K or boundary inputs) for toroidal rotation. Variables which have no defaults (and thus require inputs??) are printed in bold.

To turn on toroidal rotation, must set KPRFIT=3 and ICURRT=5 in namelist IN1. If no pressure data, set NPRESS=0.

BETAPW0 GAQ current density profile parameter for rotation. default = 0.0
COMEGA Constraint matrix for P', FF', and POmega' when ICURRT=5 and KCOMEGA>0, in order of P', FF', and POmega'. Defines constraint equations of the form COMEGA(1,i) x(1) + COMEGA(2,i) x(2) +...+ COMEGA(n,i) x(n) = XOMEGA(i) for i=1 to KCOMEGA, where x = [alpha^T gamma^T omega^T]^T, n = KPPCUR+KFFCUR+KWWCUR. Can scale coefficients up or down relative to nominal weights of 1 to get stronger or weaker constraint, respectively.

FWTPRW array of fitting weights for rotational data.
KCOMEGA Number of constraints for POmega' when ICURRT=5, specified through matrix COMEGA and vector XOMEGA. For both equilibrium and fitting. Default = 0.

KPLOTP See namelist IN1.
KVTOR toroial rotation switch, must set ICURRT=5.
  • 0 = no rotation (default).
  • 1 = turn on toroidal rotation in approximate first order form.
  • 2 = include second order terms.
  • 3 = exact two-fluid form. Polynomial basis. (exponential form???)
  • 11= toroidal rotation in exact two-fluid form. Exponential form.
KWWCUR Number of rotational pressure terms, for polynomial representation KWWFNC=0 only. Default = 2

NOMEGAT Number of rotational frequency data points.

  • >0 Radius of rotational frequency data points in meters.

SCALEPW array of scaling factor for rotational pressure or rotational frequency. default scalepw(1)=-1.0
