ELECTRON_OVERLAY_METHOD

Definition

The method by which electron quantities are specified in the fully gyrokinetic case.

Choices

  • ELECTRON_OVERLAY_METHOD=1: defined by final ion parameters.
  • ELECTRON_OVERLAY_METHOD=2: defined by ELECTRON parameters.

Comments

  • This parameter is only active when ELECTRON_METHOD=4.
  • ELECTRON_OVERLAY_METHOD=2 is certainly the simplest and most convenient, since then electron quantities are specified in exactly the same way for ELECTRON_METHOD=4 as for ELECTRON_METHOD=2.
