Definition

The number of finite elements (blending functions), , used to discretize the field equations.

Comments

• These can be linear, quadratic or cubic functions.
• The value of BLEND_GRID should normally be equal to ORBIT_GRID. Strongly shaped plasmas may require larger values of both.
• Experience shows that acceptable results are achieved with BLEND_GRID=6.
