AMPERE_SCALE

Definition

Scale factor for \beta_e\,\! as it appears in the Ampere equation.

Comments

  • This is active for all types of simulations and for all values of RADIAL_PROFILE_METHOD.
  • It affects only the Ampere equation; for example, when using Miller geometry, AMPERE_SCALE will not change the value of d\beta/dr\,\! used to determine geometry coefficients.
  • If this parameter is set to 0.0, the simulation will be electrostatic.
