Vacuum and Fueling Technology

The ITER vacuum vessel will have an diameter and height of about 30 m. There will be 14 large equatorial ports (1.7 m x 2.2 m) for diagnostics and rf heating with 39 other ports for auxilary systems and off-equatorial diagnostics. Plasma fueling will be by gas puffing, pellet injection, and neutral beams.
