Overviews
The ITER Technology R&D program during the Engineering Design phase
has completed seven large projects to build and test full-scale or model
components. This R&D includes Super conducting Magnets, Plasma Heating
Techniques, Power and Particle Exhaust, Vacuum and Fueling Technology,
Fusion Blankets, Remote Handling, and Safety.
